I received a call from O2 yesterday saying my monthly payment would be reduced.  I have checked my O2 account today and my tariff has been more than doubled from £7.00 to £16.00.  Can you rectify this.

I have also received an iphone through the post which I did not request.

@RoyN You've been scammed.

If you think you’ve been the victim of fraud – whether that’s because you’ve given details to someone over the phone, or clicked on a link in a suspicious text or email – there are things you can do:
Contact your bank if you think you may have given out financial information. They can help protect your account and stop transactions
Change your account and online account passwords. NOT JUST O2's. ALL OF THEM!
Forward fraudulent texts to us for free on 7726 and we’ll look into them.
Contact Action Fraud on 0300 123 2040

https://www.actionfraud.police.uk/
Call your Virgin Media or O2 customer services number if you think somebody’s taken out a contract with us using your details.
Virgin Media customers can phone 150 from their landline or 0345 454 1111 from any other phone.
O2 customers can call 202 from their O2 phone or 0344 809 0202 from any other phone.

We are all customers here like you and this is something you will need to speak to O2 about.

Are you sure it was O2 that contacted you? They don't normally phone people over reduced tariffs.

Did you pass on any account information or other details?

Contact Sales

Sales team, you can call them on 0800 081 0255

The opening times are:
Monday to Friday – 8am to 8pm

Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.
