Hi I have recently moved to the USA but would like to keep my number. I want the cheapest tariff just for the sake of receiving any text messages, I do not need to make calls or use any data.

@Danw597

£10 payg tariff.

You'll need to top up once every 6 months.

Guide: Migration & porting into O2

https://www.o2.co.uk/shop/sim-cards/pay-as-you-go

Guide: How to find help & contact O2

You'll need a new sim which will only be sent. to a UK address so you'll need family or friend to receive it and post on to you.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

@Danw597

If your phone supports esim , and you only want to use it for receiving SMS then have a look at this option

https://www.esim.net/O2/sms

You can port your number over, and it might be possible to migrate to it but you would need to ask there support and is only $6 per month...
