Stuck in credit check - U-Switch deal

Hello! I’m in the process of trying to get a sim only deal from U-Switch (32GB for £8), however my order seems to get stuck in the credit check. I’ve had to submit the order twice now, as every single time so far I’ve submitted it, got the email about it going through the credit check and having to wait 24 hours, it going past the 24 hour mark (like 3-4 days), and then by that time my basket expires and the website is telling me to re-add the order, which is not ideal as of course it can affect my credit score.

I’ve rang the customer service number multiple times (the regular one and the sales one), and they said that they’d contact the credit check team, but then I haven’t heard anything back.

I’ve messaged the O2 Facebook and they came back with saying that this might be a U-Switch problem. Is there a way to resolve this?

It is a case of waiting I am afraid as it can take upto 5 days in some circumstance, just dont resubmit any more orders as this will cause more issues.

There is nothing anyone here can do, as this is a customer to customer community.

This is not customer services and we dont have access to your account
I do not work for o2 or any VMo2 /Telefonica/Liberty Global Company

Just keep an eye out you don't end up with two different accounts with O2. It's not unknown.

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.
