My contract has just come to end so I have changed it to sim only. I have been sent a new SIM card but can I not just use the one I already have?

Yes, just carry on with your old sim.

The new one is for 5g if and when you need it.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

@speckledjim36 If you want to swap to the new sim, which is backward compatible, here's how: SIM Swap: a mini guide (incl eSim) - O2 Community
