Set sim pin

Wondering if anyone knows how to set a pin on my SIM card (to stop unauthorised use in case my phone is stolen/lost). Thanks

You need to go into the phone security settings and then select sim pin. To activate you will need to enter the present sim pin which is set by default to 0000. Then enter a 4 digit pin that's easy to remember, re-enter and then that's it, job done. You need to enter that pin every time the phone is switched off and back on.

I must have been well off my head when I wrote that in Thailand, I honestly forgot all about it.
