Use the specific Payment management number 0800 902 0217
The opening times are:
Monday to Friday – 8am to 8pm
Saturday – 8am to 6pm
Sunday – 9am to 6pm

@MLC1 It can take 48 hours for payments to clear O2's account. You didn't say when you paid but it's highly unlikely anything will change regarding the status of your account on a weekend. Reboot your phone every once in a while to check if your service has been restored.
If you do speak to Payment Management, talk to them about setting up a Direct Debit to avoid this problem recurring.
