Sell apple watch when in contract

Hi

 

I want to sell my apple watch series 6 as I hardly use it.  

 

I currently have 11 months left on the airtime contract.  I plan to sell it, but continue paying the contract until the end.

 

Can the person buying the watch have a cellular connection?

Just cancel the airtime plan and sell it.

If the watch is tied to a Refresh Plan, then no you can't sell it as the watch is tied to that contract and legally until you finish paying for it, o2 have a claim to it (this is the same with thing such as cars etc). 

 

If it isn't on refresh or any other finance agreements then just factory reset the watch and off you go...

Not too sure what you mean by a refresh plan, sorry.  I own the apple watch outright but just paying the monthly data fee.
