I have been trying to sim swap for the last 4 days, and it is not working. When it asks me to type my SSN whether through SMS or the form, I got the message that unfortunately it was not recognised.

Anyone facing something similar? Quite annoying.

Are you putting the full sim number in?

You need to put 8944 in front of the number on the sim card.

@Vizioli it's not uncommon for O2's sustsys to play up from time to time so if jonsie's suggestion doesn't help give customer service a call or pop into your local O2 shop.

Actually I tried with and without the first 6 digits (894...), and I just received the red signal.

I tried to call them, but no one was available. I am gonna try again tomorrow morning (maybe because I have been trying at nigh no one answered?)
