Solved: SIM card

I got a new SIM card today with everything transferred over to a micro sim. Well the old SIM card isn't working and now the new one is saying not registered with network? Whys this?

Hi.

The old one turns off which is an indication that the swap has started.

With your new SIM card in the phone turn the phone off and on to help the reset.

It can take up to 24 hours to fully swap but is normally faster.

It means the sim swap has started and you have to wait for it to complete when your new sim will be initialised.

The longest I've ever waited is about 6 hours but it can take up to 24

I did once wait nearly two days due to network congestion I assume.
