I can't find the place to do it in the app I have looked for 30 minutes.
The help text you sent says I have to call them. So I guess I will go on hold and do that..

It will show your credit balance when you go into view your bill.
I am assuming you are on contract but if on PAYG you can only get a refund when leaving O2.
