Hello
Me and my son both have O2 phones and have noticed that over the last month or so, our phone
calls cut off after about 2 seconds into a conversation.
I thought it was a faulty phone at first, but as we both have the same issue it has to be O2.
I need my phone for my work and like to use my free minutes, however I'm now having to resort to the
landline which costs alot during the day.
Feeling annoyed that I'm paying a huge monthly amount for the phones that do not work. Will I be able to get some compensation for this?
I have called up about this already and the service improved for a day or two but now we are back to square one.
Please can someone let me know what is going on?
Thanks

Hi @Anonymous Does this problem occur wherever you are...work/home/ travel? Just looking to see if it is a constant problem whatever area you are in?

Thank you, it says that a mast isn't working in my area!
Exactly what customer services said, but this issue has been going on for a long time now!

If it's saying that a mast isn't working, then at least they're aware of the problem. Sometimes these repairs take a long time to sort out, and O2 never gives timelines or estimates as to when the repairs will be completed. By all means complain, and if it carries on for a long time, it's most likely that you would be given a goodwill gesture in the form of compensation. Cold comfort if you need your phone, but masts break down, and it takes time to repair them. It happens to all the networks.

Have you tried TuGo for calls over wifi? May help if you are stuck with no signal.
