So I recently got a new phone as a gift I’ve put my contract SIM card in to it I’ve seen other posts on here saying that it could be because it’s black listed I decided to check and the phone is not black listed could it be because I’m putting my contract SIM card into the new phone I tried to call O2 but due to the current issue they are only answering urgent calls how am I supposed to solve this issue I have also double checked by getting my partner to put his SIM card into my new phone and it isn’t saying anything about the phone not being allowed.

What a shame. Phones are blocked when lost or stolen, or as part of an insurance scam...ie people report the phone lost or stolen, it gets blocked and the person gets a new phone from their insurance and sells the phone on. Happens a lot with older phones bought from Ebay. Evil
