Pay monthly to Pay As you go!

I rang O2 back in september to move my Pay monthly account to a pay as you go as O2 was a shambles for the iPhone 5 upgrades, I moved to EE. And also my 24 mnth O2 contract had finished in July.

I received the Pay as you go sim in the post few days after and was told on the phone final bill would be paid in October. Lovely. But this morning I get an email saying your O2 bill is now ready at £21.50. I think not!

Did a live chat with O2 just now, and apparently the trasnfer was delined or something rubbish like that. And was told to ring customer service. Well I'm not ringing them and paying stupid money to be on hold.

I havent used my number since I rang up to cancel end of September.

Can any O2 staff on here help me?

Edit: Just dug out the O2 Pay as you go sim I received. Was dispatched to me on 17/09/2012. Its still in the cardboard packaging. And looking at the sim itself , looks like its got a different mobile no than my old O2 pay monthly, and the sim is the normal big sim, which wouldnt of fitted my iPhone 4 if I needed to use it anyway. What total shambles!

Rang customer service. Very helpful slight_smile

Hes sent off another cancellation of contract form which should take effect in 24hrs.

He said he'll check my account on the 20th to see what charges is due on the bill and waiver them. He told me to cancel the direct debit to stop the one thats due to go out on the 18th.

Hes going to ring me on the 20th to confirm!

So fingers crossed itll get sorted and they wont kick up a fuss regarding the bill due on the 18th!!
