I have just received a text message to say that my phone bill is overdue. There are funds in the account and the Direct Debit has not been cancelled my end. It is from the same number as my bill amount is usually text to. Any ideas?

I would have said it's a scam until I read 'it is from the same number as my bill amount is usually text to'
You need to contact O2 and ask why they haven't taken the DD (if it's due)

Check with your bank whether Direct Debit has been returned unpaid and why
Leave it until you have the answers and then make a manual payment
