I have arrived in Spain. I have o2 travel bolt-on. However, I can get no service and emergency calls only.

It could be a local network issue

Depending on the phone you have a couple of things to try:

Put your phone into 3G/4G mode if a 5G handset
Also check the time on your phone
Reboot your phone and try and do a manual network search

iPhone 16 Pro Max - o2 and Spusu
Xperia 1V - Spusu

This is not customer services and we dont have access to your account
I do not work for o2 or any VMo2 /Telefonica/Liberty Global Company

Many thanks. Selected a mobile network. and it worked. Can I assume that the network selected will work to O2's TCs & Cs?

If you have selected a Spanish Network, then it will work and means it has an agreement with o2.

@ianko  Movistar is the network of choice in Spain. Occasionally if Movistar was having (rare) problems my phone would connect to Vodafone or Orange for short periods of time.
