Hey everyone, I hope your all staying safe and enjoying the sun!

a few months back I purchased an iPad 2019 on an old phone number but with a new smaller tarriff.

I'v only just realised that neither the data or text messages are working, I'm assuming its somehting I've failed to do on setup but, from what I can see all the usual settings are correct.

No o2 Guru's to help online? 😞

Thanks for any help! slight_smile

I've changed the APN to idata.o2.co.uk - doesn't seem to have worked.

I don't really care about text messages, its the data I want to be able to use.

thanks for help so far slight_smile

Do you have a phone on o2 that works ok?
You could try the ipad sim in that to see if data works.
If yes, then there is a setting on the ipad that is not correct.
If no then it indicates a problem with the sim.

My phone is an iphone 11 pro max on EE.

I'll give it a go though, apparently most phones are unlocked now, no?

Not sure about EE phones but O2 ones are unlocked.
You could always try the EE sim in the iPad if not.

^^ Would the APN need amending if the EE sim went in the ipad @MI5?

No it wouldn't.

It would be set by the sim card.

The only time the apn ever needs changing on Apple devices is when abroad on O2 if no iData bolt on is set.
