O2 OPEN discount on 4G

Told today by an online Guru that if i upgraded to 4G i wouldn't be able to apply an OPEN Code discount ? (currently gives 30% off the Refresh Airtime tarrif)

He also told me that he could get me the Sony Xperia SP in Black, which they don't do online or in the O2 shops (only do the White version).

I didn't know whether to laugh or cry !!

First circumvent Live Chat and ring 02 on 202 for upgrading.

Live Chat are ok for low level general enquiries.

I too would be keen to know whether the O2 Open discount is still available on 4G Refresh tarriffs

Well then you too would be best advised to ring them on 202 from your phone.
