Number port epic failure

Can some one please help. I am stuck in a hell of trying to port a number and the sims has stopped working. 
my 80 year old neighbour wanted to go on a pay monthly deal after being on a really pricey pay as you go (all with o2) so I got her a SIM card and pay monthly account. All fine then I ported the number and since then (3 weeks ago) we’ve had no service on the sim, no answers from o2 customer service and the elusive crt team and every time I call now they just put me on hold for ages (30 mins the last time) and then hang up. No one calls us back and no one has any answers. This is a vulnerable customer who is without a phone and lives alone!!! 
please help

It's a migration you need, not a port, so anyone's guess where the number is now. 

Guide: Migration & porting into O2  

No one here can help unfortunately, so you need to persevere with O2. sorry.

We would normally love to help, but all the account advisors who were good at dealing with this sort of thing have been removed from here leaving just us customers.

It's a pity it's been 3 weeks otherwise I would have suggested cancelling under the 14 day rule and going elsewhere.

 

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.
