New o2 customer really poor service.

Hello. On the 23/03/16 I approached o2 to provide me with a new phone on contract, upon speaking to the sales adviser I was offered a closure deal of my 2nd 3rd and 4th airtime bill will be waived if I was to proceed with the order on that day which I did. I have just queried this offer with an online agent and he is telling me that their is nothing on my account about this closure deal.

What can I do as the offer was the only reason I proceeded with the ordered at the time.

I shall keep you informed as at the minute I feel like I was baited with an offer to close the deal and then it was never applied. thanks for the prompt and quick responses.

It does sound like it was designed as a deal clincher to make you sign

I've never heard of this as an offer so hopefully the UK based CS can sort this out for you.
Without any proof, you could struggle though - live chat have a poor rep and have been known to say anything, regardless of the truth.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
Please select the post that helped you best and mark as the solution. This helps other members in resolving their issues faster. Thank you.

Also I doubt CS will find a record of any such chat @Anonymous Sadly and with hindsight, you should have saved the conversation... Ring CS as suggested and see what can be done...

I'd never heard of this before so that's why I thought the OP had maybe recycled his phone & had a credit applied to the account

Hopefully they have a copy of the transcript of the chat but I wouldn't be surprised if there was 'no record' of it....

Are you sure you were talking to O2 and not one of their "approved partners" such as Aerial ?

Since you're within 14 days of sign up, you do have the right to withdraw from the agreement, and search for a new deal.
