Hi
I’ve had o2 for years & was due for an upgrade (handset was paid off so only paying for use), I found it was cheaper going through car phone warehouse & taking out a new contract. (Still with o2). How do I go about closing my existing / previous contract and transferring the old number over? I thought I needed a pac code but it seems that’s just for network transfers?
Obviously can’t get through to discuss this over the phone as it’s not a priority query, just conscious I now have two contracts!
Any advice appreciated.

The only way is to call customer service and ask them to migrate your number across which closes your old account.
