Has O2 network gone down as my phone dropped signal this afternoon and there’s been no network since

I have my enterprise sim and personal sim all working fine, here in South Yorkshire, and my wifes phone as well.
You can check here for any service issues in your local area https://status.o2.co.uk or use the My Network App.
If no issues are showing then, It could also be a sim card fault, so might be worth either popping to a local o2 shop with Photo ID and replacing the sim card, or calling Customer Services on 0344 809 0202 from another phone.
