Hi,
Does anyone know how long it takes for name change on o2 account? I emailed a photo of the relevant forms last Wednesday.

Hi @Anonymous and all! We double checked this with O2 for clarity.

The details will be updated within 5 working days after the documentation is received, and the customer will be contacted to confirm that it's been done. So if it's been longer than that, it's good to chase it up with customer service like you were doing @Anonymous. I hope it all went ok for you with the name change in the end!

We heard from someone else today who had been waiting 10 days or more but o2 don’t specify a time frame for it.
Chase up customer service and make sure they have everything they need.

Yeah I’ve been told 3 different time frames. I have chatted on line with someone tonight who said it could take 10 days. That person told me I could take my documents in to the store and they’d do it. I phoned my local store and they said they couldn’t. I then got told it would take 5 working days. I’m so confused.

Try calling as it’s more reliable than chat.
