i use an o2 sim in dlink router with an external antenna

however wifi is an issue .it very slow and then resets connection

only fix is to manually restart router

at my wits end as its providing internet to a rural area

Sounds like the wifi module in the router is faulty.

Which router is it as you are mentioning 3 different manufacturers.

Are they all having the same issue?

Also how many users are you providing service to?

O2 is the input which you say is working OK @Psy1bdi

The wifi signal is the output and only controlled by the router.

If not a fault with each of them something must be interferring with them or each other.

Try putting each router on a different channel such a 1, 6, 12 to give good seperation.
