my 24 month contract ended yesterday. what happens now ?

it is now a 30 day rolling contract you have to give 30 days notice if you want to stop

what happens about my monthly bill ..will I still be paying the same price or will it go down ?

It stays the same unless you change it for another tariff. If you do not want a new phone look at the simplicity tariffs which are cheaper.
