I recently joined o2 and received my phone and SIM card today, I rang 202 to activate my new monthly sim but as of now I’m still not connected on the network, does it take a full 24 hours to fully activate the SIM card?

In some cases it can. Keep rebooting your phone.
If you message O2 on Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) , they should be able to help you with this

Thank you, I’ll give it until 3pm tomorrow. I have been chatting with them today and said they could order me a new SIM card but I’ll wait for the 24 hour period is up before I do that
