Hi,
On 2nd April I waited in hold for over an hour to try close an account for which I've been billed monthly despite not using the service for years. The person I spoke to agreed to refund the outstanding amount (one month - about £6) and £80 to compensate for the months of billing for no reason. The £80 was sent via a cheque, but now I'm getting emails saying I owe £13.11 (presumably the one month bill wasn't cleared and another was added) despite being promised that the account would be closed. I resent the threat to my credit history, and I don't want to have to wait for an hour again to talk to someone. Is there any other way of getting in touch with O2 to get this sorted??
