I have got a free Pay&Go sim to check if there is a good signal at my home. When I have finished testing I will dump the sim and make a decision as to which service provider I use. I notice that it seems that my top up will be automatic. How do I stop this and how do I cancel the sim.

Top ups are only automatic if youve set it up to be so.
If you have set this up then you could contact Customer Services, NOT Live Chat to cancel it.
If you dont want to port the number to another network or use it on your possible 02 contract then simply bin the sim as it will deactivate after a period of it not being used anyway.
