Hi
I've just changed my phone contract from Virgin Mobile, moving to o2 via their collaboration, to a pay monthly plan.
Requested a PAC code from Virgin - no issue
Received the o2 sim - no issue
Signed into My o2 online - no issue
Went via online chat to 2 seperate agents at o2, who both took my details for the number to be ported, as well as the temp number from o2, and the PAC code. Both got it wrong, and I got the email message from BluePrism to say my number wasn't registered to the PAC code - looking at the email both times they'd put the temp o2 number as the "porting " one !!!
So, I went via the site, and filled out the "move my number" form here: https://www.o2.co.uk/help/device-and-sim-support/how-to-keep-your-mobile-number/online-form
Now I'm getting a message to say that the temp o2 number isn't even active - but I've already used it to make a test call when it arrived, and it's also showing up on my online home page!
Really annoyed now, and regretting the move - can anyone from o2 provide some assistance?
Currently the phone is unable to make any calls due to no service on either the temp o2 number, or my "keep" number....
Thanks
Dave

Sounds like the port is starting to go through. Remember, ports to not take place on Saturdays and Sundays
Leave it as it is for now

Hmm, the number now showing is not my porting number, though, it seems to be a different random one. I'll wait for a while and see what happens.....
