Got a new SIM only deal but when I put it into my unlocked phone I get ‘No Service’ message.

What do I do to get the SIM working?

Thanks

I got the sim from O2 telesales.

Logically it would suggest the sim is faulty but on the off chance they have sent it out un activated, give customer service a call to check Guide: How to find help & contact O2

Have you activated the sim?

Is it a sim swap you have done?

Where did you get the phone from?

@Boab

The sim should be activated already if it's a new simo account.

Where did you get it from?

Thanks for the reply.

How do I register it? I had a giffgaff SIM in previously and that runs on the O2 network so I know it’s compatible. Really stuck here.
