I spent 40 mins on hold on 202 yesterday trying to give 30 days notice on ending my Sim only deal. The chatbot was too busy so I rang them but had to hang up in the end. I've been with O2 for 4 years but need a new handset and have found a better deal than one of their upgrades. The new deal will be with O2 as well. I'm just asking for advice - is there another way to contact customer services to give notice? Thanks

If your new deal is still with O2 then you need you check in MyO2 http://www.o2.co.uk/myo2
to see if you are eligible for an upgrade. If so then you don't need to give notice with O2. Upgrade using the new deal and then contact O2 to migrate your number across. All numbers are in this guide Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support
or via social media
Contact the sales team as they can help with that – message them on Social Media if that works best for you -on Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter ( https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG)
Or you can call them on 0800 081 0255
