I have been charged £24.79 per minute for a scam call on a Sunday I dont think this is right O2 should contact account holders and or have some kind of securety to block this type of scam instead of giving the callers our hard earned money I will be £108. out of pocket.

O2 are aware of some of these "callback scams" and all networks are working with the regulator to shut the scammers down.
Contact CS with the details as it will help the case and they may even refund you, although the correct route is through phonepayplus as previously mentioned.

O2 can apply a premium rate outgoing bar to prevent this but as above only phonepayplus can help you unless it is to an international number and again o2 can bar international calls etc
