Do I need a new sim?

Hi - have just upgraded from an iphone 6 to an iphone XR. Didn't request a new sim but now worried I should have done in case I can't transfer the current one over. Can anyone confirm if that's the case?

@Steph3 Your new phone takes the same sized sim as your old phone. You can just transfer the old sim to your new phone.
