I have travelled to Hungary along with 5 friends, having been here for more than 12 hours I still do not have any data coverage.
I have not received the default message from O2 to state that I am roaming. I am the only one, who’s having this issue.
I have data roaming on, and have restarted the phone several times.
Can somebody please diagnose the issue?

Try checking these:
Manually select a carrier after stepping down from 5G or 4G to 3G, then step back up. Repeat with a different carrier until you get your Welcome to Hungary O2 SMS.
Check your APN is set to mobile.o2.co.uk
Disable WiFi calling, if enabled on your phone.
Contact O2 social media, links just below, to check you have no Roaming cap in place. And reboot again. Good luck!
