Wondered whether anyone else had experience of this.
Have an iphone myself and ordered through 02 an iphone 5s for my grandson under my name. It came back with 'it's gone to credit check' - not sure why as always paid bills with 02 on time and been with them years.
No one on online chat can tell me anything
Cant get through on the telephone number they gave me
My online account just says 'in progress'
It's being sold as next day delivery so not happy about this delay and what's causing it.
Anyone else had any luck with his and how long did it take before a human at 02 pressed a button?

This is how I understand it,
If your taking a second contract out a credit check is carried out.
If your upgrading a credit check is not carried out.
You can join Experian Online or send a small fee to request a copy of your file to see if their is anything that has dropped on your credit file which you can challenge if its wrong.
O2 wouldn't divulge anything over the phone if a credit check fails a person and would suggest contacting Experian.
Different things affect your credit points score such as moving and not being on the electoral role etc as an example.
I'm more to thinking its just red tape and hopefully all will be ok

Just bugs me that 02 are so slow at updating you! Plus no one on live chat wants to help or can help?!
I was with Orange for years and their customer service was fantastic.... hopefully they'll update me soon but as it's the weekend I'm not holding out too much hope .... grrrrr!

Live Chat are non Uk outsourced call-centres who are generally OK for low level non account related enquiries.
I also agree that communication is the key in most things.
