I am really frustrated because I ahve been trying to change my account name since 6 September.
I have been a loyal over ten years O2 customer.
I have recently divorced and I have changed my surname via deedpoll.
I have contacted O2 they asked me to fill in a form adn email it with the evidence. I DID... some time later i was told that email attahments cannot be seen. and i should have posted it. I DID!
then i received a text message on my phone. your name changed they said. On the internet site it is only the title changed from Mrs to Ms but the surname is still the same.
various phone calls and helpless conversations later, i was told system will update itself after the next bill.
Guess what, i had the bill and my surname is still the same.
can somebody explain this to me? HM passport office HMRC banks and all do accept me with my maiden surname but O2 cannot. what else to do?
I am seriusly thinking of cancelling my account.

Hi @Anonymous how are you getting on, any progress yet with the name change or are you still waiting?
