In order to save a little bit of cash if I was to change tariff would I lose any discounts I have or volt ?

If you just change tariff then no. All discounts will carry over automatically.

Different though if you upgrade, which means you will have to reapply.

You would have to reapply for any discounts but Volt benefits should automatically be added after 14  days

I changed my tariff from my original one when I signed up for volt via Virgin media,the double SIM data took a couple of weeks ,but the Virgin broadband boost was not affected
