Please van you confirm my needs for making calls, texts and using data in Canada.

Did I meed to buy the 1Gb bolt on and does that give data plus calls and texts please?

1Gb bolt on gives data only, not SMS or voice calls. You can use WhatsApp which, when talking to another WhatsApp user, permits video calls, voice calls, messaging all using your data connection.
