Hello,

  1. I have been mis-sold o2 by Virgin Media. They told me that I would get the benefits of the EE and o2 networks together and then went ahead and signed me up for a Sim which should be arriving in a day or so. They also said I will get roll-over data yet I can see no evidence of this.

I used to be with Tesco mobile and the coverage is terrible and I could only make a call outside.

I've been trying to cancel this Sim but have been getting sent around in circles by Virgin and o2. I tried o2 support and the line kept getting cut off so I cannot cancel.

I just need to cancel this please and need some help to do so.

Thanks,

Dan

@DanM72

You also need to let Virgin know, as the cancellation will mean a reprice on the bundle you have signed up for, and some of the features will become no applicable..

So you need to call 0345 454 1111, it may take a complaint to be raised, as VM (let me guess the Manila Call Centre) have mis sold you...

VM have moved to Vodafone so you wouldn't get any EE service, and the sim with Volt is o2 only, and there is no data rollover.

@madasaf1sh Just to say Virgin Mobile are moving off Vodafone and onto O2.

The bulk will move this month and it is hoped that completion will be by mid September.

New SIM cards are already on O2 so Virgin CS are telling bigger porkies

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.

@Enlli

Not another new sim card 😞  I knew they where moving off, had no comms from VM about my Oomph sim card telling me its moving... typical comms from a telecoms company to be honest...

Is it going to be the same cluster as the vodafone move..

I really should pop over to the VM community more

@madasaf1sh They are only sending out new SIM cards to those that they could not update. I.e  Those that have had their phone off for a long period or those abroad when they tried to update (Yes, they decided to do it in peak holiday season)

Only way you will know is by doing a manual network search as per the last move no warning will be given.

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.

No worries @Enlli , will check mine... would explain the crap signal on the Midland Mainline all of a sudden, which is what i expect on EE and o2 but Vodafone used to work...

They really should tell people when doing this stuff, as people will again suddenly lose signal, and its a fundamental change to mobile services...

Might feedback to our VMo2 Account Team, to pass up the chain at VMo2
