@Anonymous Good call but I have already moved over as for me in the uk tugo was hit and miss etc but want to give the wifi calling option ago as the local building types block all signal but all have wifi . Not to bothered about volte (4g calling) as 2g outside is fine for calls etc.

I completed the request yesterday and whilst the slider is set to "yes" for Wifi calling it is yet to actually place a call through Wifi, the network still says "O2-UK" and it I place a call on 4G it immediately drops to 3G so perhaps there is a delay in activating it on peoples accounts?

The VoLTE aspect is only available in certain areas at the moment.

Yeah London, and Leeds by the look of the updated coverage map. WiFi calling should work in all areas.

It turns out that the live chat doesn't let me force activate VoLTE bolt on on non-iPhone.

They won't. At the moment VoLTE is only available on the iPhone 7 / 7+ until O2 decide to enable it on further handsets. So unless you have the iPhone 7 / 7+ you'll not get this activated.

The requirements are quite clear for volte and wifi calling. There's no point in posting on every thread as nothing will change until o2 decide to change it.
