Currently in Turkey. I rang 02 about a week earlier enquiring about using data in Turkey and they added 02 Travel bolt on there and then. I arrived in Turkey last night and it didn't work.
I texted TRAVEL to 23336 and got a message saying there was an error adding bolt on to your account. I downloaded the 02 app and also got a text about the one time security code.
Now I've incurred £9 extra charge as a result of the above texts and having my mobile data on when I landed because I thought I had 02 Travel. I turned off mobile data when I realised incase I incur any extra charges.
They don't have an email and I'm not going to bother calling them.
Will 02 refund the extra charge of £9 incurred as a result of their incompetence? I'm considering leaving when my contract expires in Jan. Their customer service has definitely got worse over time.

Just so you know, @Sulmaan -
https://www.o2.co.uk/international/using-your-phone-abroad will tell you what tariff(s) and bolt-ons exist to help reduce your costs while you are in Turkey.
Use WhatsApp, with others who also have WhatsApp installed, when in range of a good WiFi (hotel, restaurant, etc) signal and calls, photos and messaging becomes free.
O2 Travel will charge £6 per 24hour period, as explained in the link above. That excludes MMS (Guide: Accidental MMS Sending and How to Avoid it) which are usually always chargeable.
The ways to contact O2 to find out about any refunds are given in a previous reply to your post. Good luck!

I've had a similar problem in Qatar. Is O2 roaming unreliable?

Your post @SyntaxError broadly duplicates that which has already been answered here :-
