I've just activated WiFi and 4G calling on my Samsung S7 Edge. It all seems to be active, the My O2 app says it's on, and I have activated the 'WiFi calling' and '4G calling' toggle switches in Settings.
However I've noticed that when not connected to WiFi (i.e. on the cellular connection) as soon as I start a call the 4G icon in the status bar immediately drops back to H+ and stays like that for the whole call. As soon as the call finishes it goes back to 4G.
So do I really have 4g calling active? Anyone else seeing this behaviour?
Thanks.

So I've done some more tests, if I put the phone on the floor in the middle of the house i.e. worst place for cellular signal then bingo, I get the IWLAN phone/wifi icon pop up and it looks like wifi calling is enabled. Can make/receive calls, icon stays there until I move the phone off the floor i.e. back to reasonable cellular signal then icon disappears. So looks like WiFi calling is OK.
Still not a hint of 4G calling. I wonder if my location is just not enabled for it? I'm guessing that just because you have a solid 4G signal (and I do) doesn't mean you are automatically in a 4G calling area, I assume like other improvements it's being rolled out in stages across the network?

Is 4G Calling available everywhere?
We have successfully rolled it out in Belfast, Bradford, Coventry, Edinburgh, Leicester, Liverpool, Newcastle, Nottingham, Sheffield. Watch the space for other cities.

Thanks for the link MI5, the network coverage map indicates 4G calling is enabled in my area. I think the problem is my expectations of it...I thought it would work (at least at some level?) for any type of voice call. Having looked into it some more I think I'll only see it active if I'm calling (or being called by) another mobile on a 4G network where that mobile is also enabled for 4G calling. I can't test that at the moment, but it makes sense I think...
Thanks for the help.
