4G Pay Monthly

Anonymous
Not applicable

Ive never had any problems while ive been with o2, so I decided to look at changing to 4G.  I ordered the sim and then had a look at there 4G tariffs.  Holy crap, £47 for 1GB data and if you want to boost it to 8GB thats an extra £10 a month.....

Im paying £37 a month now for 750Mb.  How can o2 justify this price?  Im thinking of paying the £503 to cancel my contract over a year early and changing to Three.  Why should I pay o2 £57 a month for 8GB data when I can pay Three £33 a month for unlimited data, and next year when Three get 4G, it will just be a software update to use it, no extra charge and still unlimited data.

I cant justify paying £24 more than I would be on Three and getting only 8GB data.

It's about choice.

All being well that 3 are tempting you with deals but what's their signal like where you live, work and commute.

Lots of data,  minutes and texts are of little use without signal.

When I enquired they charge an extra £5 a month on your tariff to allow the use of 4g at the same amount not too sure where the 47 comes from it should be 42

Mines £27 a month for 8gb of 4g (top line) so your figures are way off ......

I second that I would call them it should only be an extra £5 a month for access to 4g

To be honest, even if it was an extra £5 a month for 4G, I really need the data, and for some reason o2 wont offer unlimited.  I would rather not leave o2 because like I said, ive never had a problem with them, but think I might not have an option.
