so i was always on pay as you go which tops up every 27th of the month, and then switched to a tariff but im still getting money taken out of my account for my pay as you go

Sounds like the auto renewal hasnt ben turned off. you will need to contact o2 on 0344 809 0202 or 202 from your o2 phone or drop them a message via Social Media; Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG)
