Just need to leave o2 - simple really
I've been on hold for 1 hour and 15 mins on the 202 number - and now about to hang up
The online chat has been "busy" for last 3 hours
Auto chat is no use
Left a message on Facebook messenger - no response
Texted for a PAC code and no response
Tried the app =- no response
So I'll leave this here
"Hi - can you cancel my contract with 30 days notice please - allow for today so 28th Feb giving notice - please terminate on 28th March - thank you - I have tried calling 202 (waited 75 mins for no reply) - no online chat - and virtual assist is a waste. Please take this as official notice of my leaving Andrew Tain Thanks"

This isnt customer services and no one will action your request from here, so I am afraid you will have to keep holding..
But thanks for providing your personal data, I am sure some scammers will love scamming you..
All the ways to cancel your number is here Guide: Cancelling Your Contract

Thanks for the reply - thought there may be some customer service under "products and services" - more in desperation than hope - sadly the guide to cancelling your contract is just a list of dead ends and/or no responses - it's been so long today just trying to get through to anything/anyone - I've given up on hold after 80 mins. Thanks for taking the time to reply.

Try all social media outlets.
Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG)

Thanks MI5 - I thought I had replied earlier - but tried Facebook yesterday - still no reply - I'm not on the other platforms and don't really want to join insta/twitter in order to leave o2 🙂
I think they've withdrawn customer service totally as nothing is active at the moment (just hung up after 65 mins again on hold)
I've sent an email to the ombudsman to pass on to o2 as someone else on this forum suggested that and seems a possible route in.
Appreciate you taking the time

I know from personal experience that there's no point tagging an advisor on here as they just tell you to call O2.
Unfortunately you'll just need to keep trying. Around 8.00am is a good time to call though for shorter wait times.
Just check the guide here too in case you missed anything to try Guide: How to get your PAC [June 2021 Update]
