Usually people think the answer to the security question is there password, which it isn't.
You should have set a security word up at the start of your contract. If you can't remember it, you can reset it in your MyO2.

I would recommend you contact O2 and speak to someone, from your O2 mobile call 202 or from a landline 0344 809 0202. You can also try using the Keep My Number Form
