friends and family discount

Hi , i was just wondering about when your on friends and family discount does the discounted price show up on your account or does the orignal full price show up and then the discount comes off when you get billed? i thought my friend had put me on his discount yet im confused as to why i cant seem to see anything confirming this on my o2 account??

As your first bill is generated a day or 2 after taking out the contract it will be too soon for the discount to be applied. Once the discount sms is sent (or alternatively once your friend fills out an internal form) it can take about 5 days to apply usually. So you will see it on your next bill.

 

This will show your full tariff price and then a credit for 30% in other charges as Jonsie said.

i have searched my account and cant see discount anywhere, i only opened the contract just over a week ago and i am due to have the first payment come out next week yet again the bill has no discount applied!! do i need to wait for the first proper bill ?

It may not have been applied as yet. Call 202 free from your mobile and ask them to confirm you have the discount.
