FRIDAY 12th JULY Since 21.30 last night my phone tells me it has been unable to connect to a network. O2 Online advise me my sim is not blocked and there is a network problem. Does anyone else have a network problem ?

Hi,I have sent my phone off to o2 insurance as i smashed my screen accidentally after i tripped over outside.I'm slightly concerned as i wasnt told to put anything else with the phone so they know it is my phone.Should i be worried about this?
