Hi,
Everytime i dial 1750 to switch on voicemail im getting error

"Thank you for choosing to use O2's voicemail. Please hold the line whilst we switch on your O2 messaging service, you have not been charged for this call..... Your messaging service could not be set up as we have not received your number - please call customer services for assistance".

Any ideas on how to fix? Live chat are totally useless.

My contract is only 2 days old and I'm using Sony Xperia 1.

I also can't seem to get WIFI calling working. Its enabled on my account but don't have option in settings.

Im running latest Android using O2 firmware.

Thanks

Thanks for your reply.

I rang customer services and they fixed problem.

They had to temporarily remove WIFI Calling and 4G Calling from my account. Then I was able to disable voicemail.

@Kamal

I suggest you call as the message advises you too rather than live chat.

It may take a few days though for your number to be registered on all O2 systems.

Check the help here for wifi calling https://www.o2.co.uk/connectivity/wifi-and-4g-calling but there is a widely reported issue with the Xperia 1 with intermittant wifi calling operation.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)
