I sent my phone back for repair nearly 4 weeks ago. All the repair site says is waiting for info from the manufacturer.

How long does it take information back from them(Samsumg)?

Really slow process.

@Chris_Essex That's absurd. You need to chase this up with customer service.
Call 202 from your mobile or 0344 809 0202, 0800 902 0217 or 0800 032 1402 from any phone or numbers here: Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support
When it comes to the reason you are calling, stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.
Press 2 for Everything Else
Press 5 for More Options
Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to someone.
Say 'Upgrade', 'Lost/Stolen', or 'Fraud' if the suggestion above doesn't get you through.
Best time to call is 8 am.
You can also reach O2 via social media:
Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB), Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW), or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG)

We are all customers here and I'm afraid that's not a question we can answer, unless someone has had similar issues.

Seem a long time.

For future reference going to Samsung direct is usually the best option

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.

Hi people,

Cheers for the replies.

Done all the above mentioned by @Bambino  a few times and continuing to do so. Luckily I have an old phone I can use for the time being.

I'll keep pestering O2 on a regular basis and probably make a complaint as well to see what happens.

Still the same information from O2 waiting for info from the manufacturer. Its nearly been 4 weeks and I cannot believe it takes this long to get information from a company in todays connected world.

Its been a really poor service and I hope that I don't have to use it again and wait another 4 weeks. I've been with O2 for years and to use this service for the first time is a really bad experience of customer service.

Problem solved. When it was returned it should have been set as a faulty device and a replacement sent out within the next few working days. Whoever dealt with this didn't mark the record for new device to be sent.

A new one is being sent out today and should be here this week.
