my guess is that its the weathers fault, if you want to blame someone, blame the snow cloud

@Anonymous wrote:I ordered a new phone on Sunday (I have already left a message on this forum ranting!) I feel exactly the same, I've been with O2 for years but their service recently has been appalling. I wish I'd gone elsewhere - I would have a phone by now. Good luck!
You ordered a phone on Sunday and you have not recieved it 48 hours later in this current weather.
Are you for real?

Hello, just read your thread… I can understand your frustration for not receiving your phone within 48 from placing an order, whichever the reason, (although there is strong suggestions/evidence that the weather might be the main cause).
However, I cannot stop thinking of the very sad news of the postman who died recently due to hypothermia, whilst delivering posts to customers…
From my experience, (of having changed a BB handset 4 times within one month due to a faulty model/batch), things will work out in the end with lots of patience and openness (and chocolate for self-indulging!!). I could have only gained a heart attack I suppose, if I would’ve let high feelings taking hold of me… Anyway, I found the O2 customer service & technical team the most helpful, polite and efficient over the phone when contacted – they do try their best in my opinion….
In the meantime, do you not have access to a different phone (your old one perhaps)? or can you borrow one from friends/family to use it until your ordered one will arrive, so your business will not suffer?
I wish you all the best and let’s hope & make sure that everyone is safe in this weather, wherever we are and do ….

Absolutely.

Incidentally, I did ask to collect a phone from an O2 store myself -saving any hassle with delivery.

FYI everyone else I work outside in all weathers and today have spent over 5 hours 30 feet up in a cherry picker in sub zero temperatures,so I do understand what and how the weather may affect and cause disruption..
Rather you than me my friend

Just wanted to say that i rang o2 yesterday and was told that the phones were out of stock until 28th January (despite being told on Sunday and Monday that they were in). Anyway nevermind, the wonderful lady at the call centre has sorted everything out and i was able to go and collect one. She was totally, utterly brilliant. And despite what some may think, i've been with o2 for probably around 10years and have never had any cause for complaint of any kind before (which is why i wanted to stay with them). Oh, and the people in the o2 shop - they were amazing and helpful too.
